I'm still feeling saddened by my thoughts yesterday but so far, I have kept to my new resolve. I'm also thinking of lots of things that can easily bring me down. Have you ever watched Ty Pennington and his crew rebuild homes for those in need? Has me bawling like a baby. Wonderful show!
I'm finding that a grilled tomato and fresh mozzarella sandwich is pretty tasty. I just keep looking at lunch meats and processed cheeses and thinking poison. I know that a few seconds of stimulating my tongue will have dire effects on my body. My extra snacking last night didn't add any weight and I'm still holding at 270 which is an eleven pound weight loss. I'm happy for that.
Taking my daughter and her friend to see a movie today. The lack of popcorn from the movies will be hard for me as I relish movie popcorn. I'll have to pop my own that I found in a low sodium form at the Dollar Tree. I've also been drinking lots of Vitamin Zero water and have found I feel hydrated through much of the day...it has no water or fat either.
I'm behind in my bills in my efforts to bring healthy into the home. It's unfair how healthier items cost so much more than junk food. Just for that reason alone I wish I could eliminate my debt and provide the healthiest items for my family. Just can't afford it though. I am sure not many of us can.
Will write more later and post the recipe of the day!
